Aberlady Gala is a week of activities in June, starting off with Gala Day on the Saturday and finishing with Kirkin’ the Gala on Sunday of the following week. The parents of the P1 and P7 children in the village decorate their houses for the duration of Gala Week. Gala Day has a parade of floats around the village and then lots of activities and fun for the whole community on the playing fields.
